Especially Human Rights Education and Education for democratic Citizenship can only agree: Although everyone feels that better and broader democracy education is bitterly needed in times of polarization, authoritarianism and a war in Europe, although everyone fears that Europeans are not prepared for the great challenges of our time – climate change, digitalization, all in all education policy is business as usual.
Education must be politically upgraded. To be improved under state direction, not outsourced. Democracy-based education must be made possible for everyone at all stages of life. Read the recommendations here:
