Letter from the Board

Dear readers of e-DARE,

wishing you a successful year 2014 we send you the most recent information about the activities of the DARE network and its members.

Following the strategic recommendations elaborated by the General Assembly, DARE offers its members a new learning tool: the DARE e-Academy which starts in February with a series of lectures on European funding for EDC/HRE in the new generation of EU programs 2014-2020 (see below).

The newly elected DARE Board meets on January 23/24th in Berlin in order to discuss next steps for DARE's strategy for 2014ff.

DARE is part of the project consortium “EDC for ALL” led by Dinamo Associacao from Portugal which will offer the members several possibilities to be involved in trainings and meetings. The kick-off will be held in Lisbon in March, more information will follow soon.

Best regards on behalf of the Board

Georg Pirker
Secretary of the DARE Network

Register now: DARE e-Spring Academy 2014 - EDC/HRE under the new EU funding programs 2014-2020
Since 1st of January 2014 the new generation of funding programs is in action. The first calls for proposals are already communicated and the first deadlines for programs are coming closer (mid March and end of April). The DARE network offers to its members (only!) the unique opportunity to join a free online academy devoted to the new generation of EU funding programs and get first-hand information on the content of the programs, the modalities of application and challenges and opportunities arising for EDC/HRE projects. As the first deadlines for educational projects under the new funding schemes will be 17th of March and 30th of April 2014 the DARE e-Academy offers a perfect opportunity to kick-off new common projects and create winning partnerships. The 1-hour lectures of the online academy are going to be held between 3rd and 7th of February 2014 right after lunch time 13-14:00 CET. To register for the e-Spring Academy please send an email to Georg Pirker (pirker@adb.de) not later than 30th of January 12 a.m. You will receive an email inviting you to the online course then.
